A Clapboard Hill Road woman was charged with passing a stopped school bus on South Avenue at 4:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19. New Canaan police said a school bus driver reported the violation the following Monday, and police confirmed it soon afterward by looking at the bus's video recording. The recording showed a white Mazda passing the bus as a student was being dropped off.
