The New Canaan Town Council voted in favor of requesting that the Waveny House and surrounding property be placed on the National Register of Historic Places on Wednesday, Dec. 17, according to the New Canaanite. First Selectman Rob Mallozzi cast a tie-breaking vote with the council deadlocked at 6-6, the New Canaanite said.
