Sebastiano P. Sciaretta, 45, of Newfield Avenue, Stamford, Conn., is facing two charges each of third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny after police said he stole $1,000 worth of copper pipes from a New Canaan home in August, 2014. A trail of blood helped police find a burglary suspect after they say the man cut his hand trying to cut copper pipes from a New Canaan home in August.
