A woman driving south on Talmadge Hill Road early Saturday morning was stopped at a police checkpoint set up to find drivers under the influence, and officers found that she was, New Canaan police said. It was the only arrest for driving under the influence that police reported making in the several hours they spent at the checkpoint Friday night and into Saturday morning.
