WILTON, Conn. Wilton's eighth grade girls basketball team, sponsored by Scoops, began the defense of their hard-fought FCBL Championship last year in the Joe Coppo Tournament Sunday, Dec. 7. The first opponent of four was the host New Canaan team, which saw plenty of power from Wilton during a 48-6 loss.
