After another New Canaan pedestrian is hit, chief issues safety guidelines

In the wake of another pedestrian accident in New Canaan this year -- an elderly man was hit by a car on Park Street last Friday -- Police Chief Leon Krolikowski issued guidelines this week to help ensure pedestrian safety. "Unfortunately, pedestrians are one of the few groups of road users to experience an increase in fatalities in the United States," Krolikowski said in a news release.
