New Canaan lost 28 seniors from last season's magical ride to the FCIAC and Class L state football championships. Returning senior captain Frank Cognetta admitted that he heard talk during the offseason, wondering whether the Rams had the personnel to fill the holes created by graduation, especially on the offensive line and on defense.
