A bag with $2,200 in cash was stolen from a safe at a New Canaan candy store Saturday, according to police. The 67-year-old complainant, who owns Mackenzie's, 7 South Ave., called police after he noticed that the bag was missing from the office, which is located in the back of the store, police said.
