Michael Pedicini Jr., a former executive chef and gymnast, survived an aortic dissection and resultant sepsis and is now fighting for basic mobility and independence. In order to help his family make the house more accessible, the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce is organizing two fundraising events -- a flash mob on Nov. 6, 2014, and dinner and drinks at Chef Luis on Nov. 12, 2014.
