O'Dea, who previously served on the New Canaan Town Council and was first elected to the state's General Assembly in 2012, said he's planning to work on making the state more friendly to retirees, reduce state spending by 20 percent, lower gas prices, reinstitute Metro-North's "bar car," among other proposals. "New Canaan and Wilton are two of the finest communities in Connecticut, and I would like to continue in my efforts to make them even better," he said.
