O'Dea, who previously served on the New Canaan Town Council and was first elected to the state's General Assembly in 2012, said he's planning to work on making the state more friendly to retirees, reduce state spending by 20 percent, lower gas prices, reinstitute Metro-North's "bar car," among other proposals.
