The former Outback Teen Center youth program director who New Canaan police accused of using vulgar language to students at Saxe Middle School, received a six-month suspended sentence and granted participation in a special probation program that could dismiss the second-degree breach of peace charge if he successfully meets the program terms. Andrew Barer, 52, of Easton, also was banned from all New Canaan schools Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to the breach of peace charge, according to The Advocate.
