Former Navy SEALs Mike Martin and Brian Hoke, along with a team of corporate citizens including Chris Biasotti of New Canaan will brave the elements and race in the 2014 Polar Circle Half Marathon on Oct. 25. This race, often referred to as "The Coolest Marathon on Earth," sends runners through the arctic tundra just north of the Polar Circle in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Team captain Rob Vogel of Whitebox Advisors generously underwrote this expedition and will lead his team on this frigid race to raise money for the Navy SEAL Foundation, which provides immediate, ongoing and unwavering support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.
