A multi-car crash on the northbound side of the Merritt Parkway has closed the highway in New Canaan, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. ConnDOT said the crash occurred in a construction zone and that all lanes were blocked by emergency vehicles between exits 36 and 37 in New Canaan that was reported about 8:10 a.m. Wednesday.
