A contract worker was issued a summons after New Canaan police said they found a marijuana grinder in his car Nov. 3. Officers received a report about "a suspicious person" sitting alone in a white van on Millport Avenue, near East Avenue, just before 1 p.m., police said. When officers arrived, they noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle belonging to Stamford-based Reliable Oil & Heat Co., according to the report.
