A member of the West Haven City Council resigned from his position after he pleaded guilty and admitted embezzling $106,028 while he worked as a personal banker at a JPMorgan Chase branch in New Canaan. A Norwalk man was killed after he lost control of his car and was ejected in a one-car crash on Route 7 near the interchange with Interstate 95 in Norwalk, Connecticut State Police said.
