DNA evidence has led to the arrest of a suspect in a break-in at a New Canaan home in June, when almost $46,000 worth of jewelry, cash and Oxycontin pills were stolen. Lawrence Ruscoe, 55, of Hartford Road, Brooklyn, Conn., was charged with first-degree larceny, third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief.
