Road work will cause lane closures in Westport and Norwalk in three areas on Thursday, the Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced : The right lane on the southbound -traffic side of the Merritt Parkway to be closed on a stretch of the road between Exits 44 and 42 until 3 p.m. Thursday, in Westport . In Norwalk , the right lane on the northbound -traffic side of the parkway between Exits 38 and 39 is scheduled to be closed, according to the same announcement.
