He will be explaining his processes at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 6:30 p.m. Some of his work is displayed there as part of the Carriage Barn's 35th Annual Photography Show, "History and Process," through Feb. 8. The artist, who admits to owning hundreds of vintage cameras from the 19th and 20th centuries, said he's currently working with a 1907 Century View camera. He also uses cameras he has made, everything from sophisticated instruments to shoe boxes with a pinhole in them.
