Current trends in College Admissions are the focus of a new Panel Discussion sponsored by Competitive Edge College Advisors of New Canaan at the Outback teen center on Thursday, January 29th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Representatives from five colleges and universities will discuss Early Decision versus Regular Decision, the Realities of Financial Aid and Merit Scholarships, the Role of Athletics and Extra-curricular activities, and the GPA, SAT/ACT importance/weighting in the admissions process. Panelists are admissions representatives from Dickinson College, Franklin & Marshall, Rhodes College, Union College and the University of Vermont.
