New Canaan Police were able to track down a Bridgeport man suspected of robbery by using DNA found on a pair of shoes he left at the scene of the crime, according to the New Canaan Advertiser . Alvin Polchies, 38, broke into a car and stole a pair of shoes and left his old ones behind, the Advertiser said.
