Jeffrey Peart, 27, was charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a large magazine and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana. According to the advocate, State Police arrived on the scene just after 2 a.m. on April 4 and Troopers found a blue Ford Explorer on the shoulder and New Canaan police on the scene.
