Checks Stolen from Two Good Samaritans

Cash and checks were stolen from two men who had let a woman live in their home who needed a place to stay. Two New Canaan men who allowed a woman who needed a place to live to stay in their home temporarily later discovered that some of their checks had been used to withdraw money from their bank accounts, New Canaan police said.
