The former White House attorney who has been convicted of the attempted murder of his wife in their New Canaan, Conn., home four years ago will be sentenced Thursday. Michael Farren was general counsel at Xerox when in 2007, George H.W. Bush named him Deputy White House Counsel, WCBS 880's Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau reported.
