The Board of Selectmen approved Sept. 9 more than $500,000 worth of contracts for energy-efficiency projects at the schools, including $209,303 for a new cooling chiller and $69,491 for a new roof-top air-conditioning unit at South Elementary School ; $104,098 for a new roof-top air-conditioning unit at West Elementary School , and $28,000 for new sensors and damper actuators at East Elementary School .
