A program on early-20th century art kicks off the new season of the ArtScapades lecture series on Monday at the New Canaan Library . "Modern Beginnings: From Matisse to Picasso" is the topic of the lecture by Robin Hoffman and Jodi Stiffelman, set for 7 p.m. in the library's Adrian Lamb Room.
