The FBI, New York City police and other authorities had announced they were looking for Ralik Hansen, 28, of New York City, in connection with robberies, including one at Henry C. Reid & Son jewelry store in New Canaan last November. On Halloween night, Hansen, still on the lam but worried about being caught, shot himself to death, thinking police were knocking on his door, according to reports.
