15 Counterfeit Bills Passed at Radio Shack

After a young man paid $319 for a set of headphones at Radio Shack with $20 bills, a sales clerk became suspicious of about 15 of the bills, which turned out to be fake, according to an article in the New Canaan Advertiser. The clerk told the store manager about a particular purchase made at about 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, in which a customer bought Beats by Dre brand headphones with $20 bills, the newspaper reported.
