Snow appears to have ended across New Canaan and the rest of southwestern Connecticut between 5 and 6 a.m. Saturday, after the region was pummeled for nearly 24 hours by a winter nor'easter -- with intense overnight blizzard conditions -- and left in its wake at least 2 to 3 feet of snow.
