A 75-year-old Pound Ridge, NY woman was trying to leave her parking spot downtown when the car instead backed up, hit another car and then hit the building where William Raveis Real Estate has its offices, New Canaan police said. Marie Healy of Trinity Pass Road in Pound Ridge was behind the wheel shortly before 11:11 a.m. on Sunday on Main Street, near its intersection with Elm Street when she meant to leave an illegal parking spot.
