New Canaan police received these three separate, apparently unrelated reports of identity theft last week: On April 9, a 60-year-old New Canaan woman reported finding a fraudulent charge on a credit card she still has: $669.99 from a Best Buy store made on March 24 to buy an Apple iPad.
