Local New Canaan mother and son tennis players Heide and Alexander Merjian are one of eighteen teams comprised of family members who have advanced to the finals of the First Niagara Family Classic and will play alongside five of the world's top 10 players at the New Haven Open at Yale, according to a release from First Niagara.
