Joseph Borea , 56, of New Canaan pleaded guilty Wednesday before U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant in Hartford to one count of conspiring to violate the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act stemming from his involvement in organized-crime controlled gambling businesses.
