Train conductor thwarts bike theft

The theft of a bike parked at the New Canaan train station was interrupted by a train conductor around 9:30 a.m. on July 9. The bike was a silver and blue men's Rockhopper, with an aluminum frame and quartz brakes, valued at $800, police said.
