Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry St., New Canaan, will be hosting an adoption event for Community Cats from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. Community Cats is a nonprofit organization dedicated to caring for homeless cats through trap-neuter-return practices and basic veterinary services to diminish the growing stray cat populations.
