Catherine Ellsworth, a New Canaan resident and an eighth grader at Saxe, took home a gold medal in open juvenile dance at this weekend's Southern Connecticut Open held at the Darien Rink with her partner, 17-year old Nick Gambicini of Naugatuck, CT.
